Facilitating dialogue in the space between collapse and control
This work operates in grey-zone contexts — where state authority has receded, and no viable alternative has yet taken shape.
It focuses on designing discreet, neutral dialogue spaces
in which local actors can meet, reflect, and recalibrate their positions,
outside formal mandates, political pressure, or predefined outcomes.
The work is personally led and conducted through KMT
as a supporting platform, not as an institutional actor.

Areas of Work
Basic Services Facilitation
▸ enable dialogue on access to essential services such as water, food, and energy, particularly in areas where public institutions have collapsed or are contested.
Civic Protection Dialogues
▸ support local actors in developing non-militarized responses to protect civilians during prolonged instability.
Peace Process Engineering
▸facilitate pre-formal and sensitive dialogues between divided stakeholders, helping them explore peaceful arrangements without prescribing outcomes.
Partners and Collaborations
KMT engages in selective, non-institutional partnerships with:
• UN agencies and multilateral actors
• Bilateral development organizations
• Policy research institutions and strategic think tanks
• Local councils, facilitators, and technical actors across the MENA region
In these settings, KMT does not manage funding or implementation — it leads on process design, facilitation strategy, and contextual alignment.
