What Is KMT?
Konfliktmediation und -transformation (KMT) is an association established in Austria by Ezzat Baghdadi. Its interests lie in understanding conflict, dialogue, and the political, social, and economic transformations that shape societies, particularly in the Middle East.
KMT Centre is the association’s knowledge platform. It brings together analytical articles, research papers, and selected reflections arising from dialogue. Rather than presenting one institutional interpretation of complex issues, the platform makes room for independent inquiry and different analytical perspectives.
The association approaches dialogue as an opportunity to ask better questions, examine assumptions, and understand the relationships that sustain conflict. The insights emerging from such exchanges may inform research and public understanding without being attributed to individual participants.
KMT Centre also makes selected earlier research available alongside contemporary work. Together these contributions form an evolving resource for readers interested in conflict, governance, regional transformation, and the possibilities of peace and stability.
