KMT CENTRE · EDITORIAL GOVERNANCE
Editorial Governance & Publication Charter
Professional standards for responsible research publishing
The availability of a document is not a reason to publish it. Each proposed release must meet standards of originality, verification, rights clearance and protection of sources.
Distinct publication formats
Research papers are standalone studies with a stated method, verifiable references and defined findings. Booklets are more substantial edited publications with clear licensing terms. Short-form articles are a different format and are not part of the current publishing programme.
Editorial approval
Each proposal undergoes provenance and rights checks, factual and risk review, editing, and explicit human editorial approval. Presence in an archive does not constitute publication permission.
Confidentiality and protection
Internal mediation papers, workshop records, participant data, identifiable personal information and unauthorized testimony are not published. Redaction, further review or non-publication takes precedence where safety demands it.
Evidence and authorship
Facts, analysis and estimates are distinguished. Public references are traceable, quotations are checked, and text and visual permissions are reviewed. Third-party material is never misrepresented as original KMT work.
Provenance and multilingual editions
Preparation date, verified first-publication date, and current release or revision date are identified separately. Original language is stated. Translations are released only after human review.
Images and media
Photography and graphics require appropriate rights or licenses and attribution where applicable. Conceptual and AI-generated images are clearly labeled and are never presented as documentary evidence of a real site or event.
Technology and AI assistance
Assistive tools may be used for editing, translation and formatting under human oversight. No generated source, factual assertion or translation is accepted without verification. Material assistance is disclosed when relevant.
Access and paid offerings
Open research, subscription-only materials and separately sold booklets are distinguished. Charges will not be enabled until pricing, access terms, usage rights and applicable refund conditions are presented.
Corrections and accountability
Substantive errors are corrected with dated notices. Material may be suspended or withdrawn for confidentiality, rights or accuracy concerns, with an appropriate explanation where feasible.
